Elizabeth goes to Woodstock 69 music festival with Miles Ellis, a Black keyboardist and James Gurley, psychedelic guitarist in the band, Big Brother and the Holding Company. James support of Miles singing along to “Amazing Grace” and “We Shall Overcome” must have been his musician’s connection that he tuned into. Skin color doesn’t matter to Elizabeth. It could be it doesn’t matter to James either. Jimi Hendricks is a good friend of James too.
Elizabeth mused, when it comes to music, all of us musicians are color blind. Should be with all people.
