Three Years of Her Life – Book Sighting in La Jolla, CA

The debut historical book, Three Years of Her Life, is in La Jolla, CA. A long-time, good friend and colleague, Judith Pfeiffer, PhD, MSN, read the book while visiting family in Canada. She retired from USCD as Director, Nursing Education, Development and Research. La Jolla is her home, with its sweeping ocean views and beautiful coastal beaches. One of Judith’s lovely collection of paintings by family artist friend, Jason Faessel, is in the background of her portrait photo. His artwork in 2022, “At its best, abstraction addresses the human spirit. Part experimental, and part spirit dwelling in nature.”

Thank you Judith for writing a wonderful Amazon 5-star review – May 31, 2022

5.0 out of 5 stars Had to keep reading through the night–energizing story!

LOVED reading this book! A definite page turner yet complex story. I cannot wait to read more by this talented author. Balanced approach to family’s 1950’s prejudices and how characters overcame obstacles. I want to know what happens next! Please keep writing.

  2. It’s good to see the tour rolling on, Christine. I went to La Jolla once. Even though it was back in the worst of the “bad old days,” I still remember it as a beautiful place. I wish I had seen it under better circumstances.
Shine on, moon child. Hugs on the wing.

Thanks so much, Teagan. La Jolla has grown too much. I lived there years ago and it was a nice quiet village. Not anymore. It’s bustling with tourists & activity. It’s a nice surprise that the book sighting has taken off nicely. I have you coming up next. Retrieved you review/ comment from Goodreads. Thank you! 📚🎶

Thank you so much for your visit and comment. The Debut book has a sequel in progress. I’m excited about this one too. It’s the happenings in the late 1960s. And The main character has more to overcome in her personal and professional life. 📚🎶 Christine
