About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent is s a Yorkshire born painter and writer, who lives in the south of England.
“I paint strange things that come as images in dreams and fantasies, and write about life as it happens.”
A visit to her website and you’ll agree, Sue is multi-talented. She paints in most media, and paints everything from wedding cakes to huge murals. She writes poetry and won the David Burland International Poetry Prize in 2008. She wrote a column for the Spiritual Guides. She taught online with various esoteric forums and one friendship grew with Dr. G. Michael Vasey, and they wrote a published book, The Mystical Hexagram. In 20013, a writing partnership began with Stuart France. They embarked on an adventure that took them across the sacred landscape of Albion.
“We have an enormous amount of fun in our wanderings and wonderings, which may reflect somewhat in the way we write.”
Sue is one of the Directors of The Silent Eye, a modern Mystery School. She has written a number of books, both alone and with Stuart France, exploring ancient myths, the mysterious landscape of Albion and the inner journey of the soul.
Ani, her small “mad” dog also blogs when Sue lets her near the keyboard. Ani tells us the inside scoop on Sue from a dog’s perspective of their life together.
Sue has two adult sons. Her eldest, Nick, made a remarkable recovery from a brain injury sustained by an unprovoked attack. Nick writes his own blog https://nickverron.com and has a book in progress that tells his story.

So incredibly interesting. The imagery she paints is truly amazing. I was shocked when you mentioned her son suffered an unprovoked brain injury. I didn’t see that coming in this post. Glad to see he has chosen to handle his injuries through creative blog writing.
Thank you for sharing this post.
