The swaying palm is a reminder that this life is so fragile and we take it for granted. We destroy or sit back and let nature be destroyed. The sun will rise again but there will be no one here to see it.

Léa, reading your sad words this morning. Sounds like it might be ideas for a poem. Realistic in a sense, but sad nonetheless. Life & nature have cycles, some longer, some shorter. I’d like to think there’s regeneration, seeds, twigs & buds – babies, puppies & kittens. Hope your day is filled with joy! 📚🎶 Christine

Christine, I’ve no doubt you know that those cycles are being twisted and bent. What kind of future are we leaving for babies and puppies? 📚🎨

Good point, Léa! Absolutely true! If I could move those thoughts for today, I’d wish you a Happy May Day. When I was a kid it was hanging May baskets on friend’s door knobs or steps. in Greece we marked the beginning of spring & growth with flower wreaths. They hung from balconies, doors and in the town squares. They dried out and were burned on Summer Solstice day. 💐🎶💘

Here we give small bunches of Muget which are Lilies of The Valley. Of course it is also Labor Day here and everything is closed. 📚🎨❤

Delicious! When I was a child, our neighborhood was surrounded by orange groves. Unfortunately, the developers made them disappear… 🎨📚
