Debut novel: Three Years of Her Life – C.E.Robinson
Photo gallery- sunsets and sunrises from worldwide blogger friends.
Sunset Inn, Kezar Lake, Center Lovell, Maine

1923 – Gustav & Edna Heim (my grandparents) created Sunset Inn & Cottages on the shores of Kezar Lake. Today, it’s part of Quisisana Resort, an adjacent piece of lakefront land. Musical tradition at Quisisana Hotel goes back to 1917. Spenser & Madaline Strauss established the resort as a haven for musicians. And music lovers who played together for their own entertainment. A Quisisana guest, Gustav Heim, served as first trumpeter with symphony orchestras in Boston, Detroit and New York.
Three Years of Her Life, a debut novel is an indelible portrait of family love, trust, commitment, and unrelenting prejudice. A stirring tale that rides the line between historical fiction and romance, inspired by a famous musician’s hidden secret in Germany.

Hello Christine! Thank you so very much for visiting my site and for your follow… that is so gracious and kind! I am always amazed anybody bothers to read my ramblings, so of course i take none of this for granted! And can I say for the record, that YOU ARE MY HERO! I love and admire nurses and the profession in general… I realize you are now retired and all, but I so wish I would have made the decision to go into nursing as my grandmother had done (she was an LPN). Somewhat late in life, I trained to do medical transcription (before voice recognitiion started – what a joke that is!) and realized quite late I had missed my calling. It felt as natural as a well fitting shoe. And with transcription, I also had my love of words satisfied… still, I would have loved to have been a theatre nurse. I look forward to learning more about you – and to seeing more “before sundown” photos as well! My site is littered with them. Also sunrises. And quite a few sunny moments in between… Life is for living, Christine! How lovely to meet you out here… Mother Hen

Hardi Goradia, I’m honored that you nominated me for the Liebster Award! I’ve been following your blog for some time now, and I’m impressed with you writing and your goal to be a solicitor. Your blog tagline says it all, ” If you are resolutely determined to make a lawyer of yourself, the thing is more than half done already.” – Abraham Lincoln. And you’re half-way done! I thought long and hard about this Liebster Award, especially since I’ve declared my site award-free after receiving three blog awards in succession. But, because you are a special blogger friend, I’ll accept it! Thank you so much!

Wow! Wow!!! Love it. I’ve got some gorgeous sunrise in South India pix. We have to exchange, somehow. You were right, bathing in this beauty did change my wavelength. Also I have been doing a lot of crying and remembering things my father and I did together, which of course I will have to blog about, and that was therapeutic although heartwrenching. I have to get back to writing my bookings, seriously. This emotional energy can be put to use, I hope…think I’ll go back and gaze into your sunsets for a while now…..

Laura, thanks for visiting the sunsets, and for your comments! So glad you’re going to gaze more. It’s good that you’re going to blog about your father and remember the happy times. It surprised me when I put more of my Dad in Chapter 4 – It Was the Times of the book Happily Ever After. He wasn’t that present in my life, so I’ve put him there! It made me feel better. If you find any sunset pics from South India, I can copy them from your blog site. Just let me know. For me…sunsets cue me to…remember what made me smile… before sundown. It’s comforting. Enjoy your time abroad…find some amazing sunsets there.

Wow. That is one beautiful gallery, and I think I’ll be spending a fair amount of time around here when I’m doing my thinking for my next chapters, or the stanzas for my poems. Pictures like that certainly have to help the thinking processes. Here in Vancouver we have some wonderful sunsets, so I guess I’ll have to remember to take my camera with me the next time I am at the beach. If it stays clear out today maybe I’ll even get that done tonight. In the meantime thank you for inviting me to your wonderful site, and I hope you have a wonderful New Year.

Oh dear, Sally, what a lovely surprise and a Lovely award! As much as I’d like to accept it (because I love awards & would love to support you by accepting) I’m unable to! I know I accepted two awards after I declared Before Sundown Award-free (after four awards). But, those two were related to the writing process with minimal work (questions to answer & make up). And I got to showcase authors (you, Nicholas and Teagan) and two young blogger friends. I know, I couldn’t resist, and I caved! Now, I’ve really got to mean it, and stick to the Award-Free declaration! I’m hoping you understand! I love the beautiful bouquet of flowers and I’ll put them in a special place on my blog site. I might make a page for them on the header! Thank you so much for thinking of me. Congratulations on your One Lovely Blog Award. I’m going to write a comment on your post.
