Cover Reveal: Three Years of Her Life: C.E. Robinson
A stirring tale that rides the line between historical fiction and romance. Inspired by a famous musician's secret life, years ago in Germany. It is an indelible portrait of family love, trust, commitment, and unrelenting prejudice.
Christine Elizabeth Robinson, a former nurse practitioner ventures into the world of fiction to write books. Published in May 2022, THREE YEARS OF HER LIFE, a historical fiction, comes from her love of researching family history. A background as a published poet, experience in writing fiction, non-fiction and screenplays, is an advantage in her writing career. Christine lives in Southern California. A sequel to the debut book, BEYOND THREE YEARS OF HER LIFE, in progress, will be available in 2023. The plot explodes and the characters evolve, moving forward. Even their victories create conflict and consequences.

Thanks, Tim. That was the time span that took the main character to uncover her famous grandfather’s secret in Germany. She, as a nurse, of course, had help from a handsome doctor. 📚🎶
Thank you, GP. The cover has a few clues that are part of the story. The background sheet music is my grandfather’s original song. The pocket watch, his, with a mystery woman’s photo inside, the long-stemmed red rose, a symbol of love from two of the main character’s heart throbs. The historical vintage book brings the story back in time. The cover designer was exceptionally creative. 📚🎶 Christine
You got it. The main character, Elizabeth, is me. Much of the story is real, nursing school, RN, romance (real & fictional), work history (years changed to 1950-60). In the back of the book pages, the Author’s Note tells what is true, fictional & embellished. It was really fun & exciting to write about an alternate life. 📚🎶
Thanks GP. Be prepared for revealing history and romance! And action —a mission to transport cardiac patients from East Berlin to the West through the 1961 Berlin Wall. A ton of research went into writing this book! 📚🎶
Thanks, Resa. There’s a lot of 50s music in it. Elizabeth, the main character, plays the guitar, and is good enough to join a band. It’s her guitar teachers band. And she has an entanglement with him. Even though, as a nurse, her heart throb is a Jewish doctor. 📚 Christine
Thanks, Dan. I just sent you a long email response to your email. Al the book promotion posts are there on my blog site. Any more book info needed, let me know. Thanks so much for your comment, your interest & your offer. 📚🎶 Christine
That’s a beautiful cover. Three years seems manageable.
