Rishikesh is a city in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. Temples and ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) line the eastern bank around Swarg Ashram, a traffic-free, alcohol-free and vegetarian enclave upstream from Rishikesh town.

How nice to showcase this writer and his beautiful sunrise photo. Wonderful, Chryssa. ❤️

I’ve never really considered traveling to India, but after reading this post about Rishikesh, I’ve changed my mind. I enjoy attending my yoga classes a few times a week, but to have the chance to practice in a yogic town like Rishikesh! WOW. And I’d definitely want to connect with Sarah and Sharukh.

While Rishikesh certainly has the environment for yoga, there are many other towns that offer similar experiences. All towns at the foot of the Himalayas offer great experience.

Knowing and using given names is important. It shows respect! I have a few names I use which confuses some followers. Elizabeth (my middle name) is my writer name, the main character of Sunset Inn, a fiction book based on real events. Christine is my birth name. Chryssa is my editor name for scriptwriting. Chapter One reveals why I’m using Elizabeth off the page! Chapter One will be posted soon! 🌅 Elizabeth
