Love is Everywhere

spread-the-love-challenge_thumbThe Spread the Love Challenge (Award) has requirements and rules, ones that my nominator Saakshi Kale played with a little bit. She said that you cannot confine love to a mere four words as required. The rule states: 1. Write ten four-word sentences about what love means to me. 2. Share your favorite quote/poem on love. 3. Nominate a few bloggers for the same. I agree with her and I’m going to play with the rules too! But first, let me tell you about my nominator that I’ve virtually known since she nominated me for a Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award in November 2014.

a7f9bae7795b8baab25fb0ea919a9fe3 Saakshi Kale

Saakshi Kale is a sixteen-year-old girl from Mumbai, India. Her blog site randommusings is alive with spirit. Her writing is honest and mature. A visit to her site is well worth your time. http://meandthe30dayproject.wordpress.com

Saakshi Kale’s primary interest is people and it’s her goal in life to study and try to understand them. She loves to read and write, and she’s passionate about swimming. She loves music, rock bands and songs. One of her favorite books is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin.

Last but not least – she’s very fond of traveling. She really, really wants to go to Finland. Her favorite band is Finnish and she admires their educational system. She writes, “ It’s such a beautiful and peaceful country, and who doesn’t want to see the northern lights?”

My take on playing with the rules is to give you a fun gallery all about love. Everyone loves to look at pictures. For me, what’s most important about this Spread the Love Challenge is to support and promote my lovely blogger friend and nominator Saakshi Kale, and the following, as lovely, nominees!

  2. Love in four lines? We’ve been having a discussion of using few words over at Cats at the Bar. Not a lot to do with love (maybe a little), but there are definitely fleas in the air 😉

Thanks so much, Van! It’s the mosaic tile gallery, and guess I’m a good guesser in placement. WordPress actually gets involved with its ideas! Sometimes good & sometimes bad. Anyway, it’s fun, and I love doing it. Christine

I really like what you did with this entry Christine, and now I can’t wait to see what you will come up with for your next approach. After seeing the results of your “rule-bending” I hope no one thought I had any intention of being too strict when I mentioned that anyone who wanted to use the two blank nominations that I left for “volunteers”, should follow the rules “as laid out in previous entries. I’m all for originality, I just didn’t want to play too fast and loose with someone else’s structure after they were nice enough to include me in their game. (Did I ever mention I’ve always been known as someone who’s “painfully shy”? Lol.) Anyway, I’ll be waiting to see what you come up with when you return. Have a great trip.

Thank you ! Okay…David…it’s high time to not be painfully shy! Getting & accepting awards can be fun. There are quite a few of us “rule benders” out there in Blogosphere. I don’t think the awards police will ever knock on our computer screens. Next time join us! We welcome you. I’ve got my fun ideas for the award percolating already! Coming soon…after vacation. My nephew pointed out that in over 10,000 pictures that I’ve taken with my new camera I only have 2 that are of people, and those two were shots that they asked me to take. I’ve never asked a single person if I could take their picture, or even a picture of their pet. Pretty shy huh?
