Audrey Loves NYC & The Nutcracker Ballet

Audrey’s lived in NYC for several months now and she’s still smiling! She loves living there and why not, especially now in NYC’s festive December with the famous Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center, and the Nutcracker Ballet at the Joffrey Ballet School.

  3. One of my favorite places in the world. My daughter has lived there now for 5 years. I spent some time there this weekend and realized that my dream city, while a great place to visit, has become a nightmare for her. The crowds, the lights, the smells, the pace…exciting to me, are crushing her spirit, and she is looking to leave. Happy for your granddaughter, hers is quite an adventure. NYC is a mixed bag of tricks.

    • Van, yes, visiting is fun but living there is another story for many people. Sorry that it’s not working out for your daughter. Good that she tried, and will be onto another adventure sometime soon. Audrey has a set plan as a trainee at Joffrey, but after that who knows. She may see NYC in a different light on her own in the big city.

Sounds absolutely exciting for all those involved, especially for your daughter. I’m sure NYC is everything it’s been cracked up to be, and like they say in the song, “… If she can make it there, she can make it anywhere…”
